| Description: These workshops will be offered in conjunction with all Level I, Level II, and Level III programs and be instrumental in preparing your dog for interaction amongst other dogs, humans, bikers, runners, and other distractions. These workshops will also help you prepare for the AKC Good Citizenship Award. |

| AKC Canine Good Citizenship Award |
| Emphasis: Enhanced Social Interaction w/ AKC Award Certificate |
| Length: 1-2 Hours - Based on Readiness of You and Your Dog. Offered Weekly. |
| Description: Puppy Love Academy also provides the Canine Good Citizenship Program, a ten-step program sanctioned by the American Kennel Club (AKC) that teaches responsible dog ownership and provides basic training and good manners to dogs. The course includes (i.) Accept a Friendly Stranger, (ii.) Sit Politely for Petting, (iii.) Appearance and Grooming, (iv.) Out For A Walk, (v.) Walk Through a Crowd, (vi.) Staying in Place, (vii.) Come When called, (viii.) Reaction to Another Dog, (ix.) Reaction to Distraction, and (x.) Supervised Separation. All dogs that pass the test receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. |
