UPDATE December 24, 2003
CC Moves to New Home to Celebrate Xmas!
Brad, Deano, and Frankie are very sad to see CC go. Philip Buccilli (Valerie's Brother) is now the happy owner of this Princess. What a Christmas present!
Philip lives in Pittsburgh so CC will have the enjoyment of all seasons, PePe the Bouncing Poodle, and a beautiful new home. Valerie will fly her up on Christmas Eve Day.
Enjoy, Philip... and make sure you teach her all about them Stillers!
Original Story |
CC's new back yard... fenced, with trails in the back!

No one knew where she came from... CC just appeared at the Cypress Creek Country Club with her companion around the beginning of June, 2003. "This looks good to me", she probably said to herself, "Hot dogs, ham, turkey, crackers, and dog food. I am in heaven!".
Her companion vanished about a week or two into the adventure, but this did not rattle CC in the least. She was well liked and cared for by Theresa, Vikki, Mary Lou, Anne-Margaret, and all the employees, golfers, and club members at the Cypress Creek Country Club in Boynton Beach, FL. (hence the name CC)
While she only approached female humans at times, and was very skittish around males, she really took to Theresa, the Club Manager, and they formed a good bond. "She used to follow the ladies around for nine holes on Tuesday mornings" Theresa mentioned, "and occassionally came back with a souvenier head cover or golf ball" |

Well this caught the attention of Brad Bowman, who was having a birthday golf outting at Cypress Creek on Friday, July 11. Brad inquired as to the status of the dog and it was determined that the dog was a stray. He immediately contacted head PLA trainer Valerie Buccilli on the cell.
That same day CC was eating (with some reservations) from Brad's hand. She had no idea her life was about to change for the better. |
| The following day Valerie and Brad appeared at Cypress Creek and met with Theresa and CC. After a nice introductory and acclamation period CC soon had a collar and leash on and was ready for her new adventure. While everyone at the club who knew CC was sorry to see her go, they knew that she was in good hands with Puppy Love Academy.
As of Monday, CC has found a new home at Mr. Bowman's house in Delray Beach and is becoming used to her more suitable environment. "She loves her crate, and we had a cuddle last night" said Brad. "She is very loving, and a very smart dog!" he added. |
 |
"It will take no time at all for Valerie to train CC", said Brad, "and allow her to become a wonderful companion for a special family or person... only after we make sure she is in good health and had her shots"
Valerie says "CC seems to have every quality of what we call a Heinz 57... lots of variety as far as her breeding is concerned. Judging by her teeth she is less than or close to a year old and judging by her temperament and features we have figured out that she is a Terrier mix, has some Chow, Bisengi, and Vizsla in her, with Vizsla being the dominant formation of her character."
All of the golfers who played in the birthday outting that day have expressed interest in taking CC in, with one of the senior members of the outting calling everyday to check on her progress.
"We at Puppy Love appreciate the efforts of everyone up at Cypress Creek and we look forward to finding CC a wonderful new home."
